Here are some tips to know if the shirt you ordered from a supplier is good.
Check and feel the fabric
When it comes to assessing a good quality shirt, it will all be in the fabric. It is recommended to get 100% cotton garments but be warned that all cotton would not mean that it is good quality. So, check the label and feel of the fabric because a good one would feel soft to touch.
Do the wrinkling test
If you have been given sample shirts from company uniform suppliers, take time to do the wrinkling test. This is done by crumpling a part of the shirt in your hand and then let go. If there are a lot of wrinkles, then it means it is not made from good quality fabric.
Inspect its transparency
Find a light source and hold the shirt against it, then you will see its transparency. The more transparent it is, it means that it is less dense. This is not recommended because It would easily break after several washes and can be easily sliced when it comes in contact with sharp objects.
Look at the hems
The hems can indicate how much care is put when the clothing is made. When you are looking at some t-shirts, you should carefully inspect the collar, sleeves, and the lower hem. If there are threads sticking out, then the shirt supplier made it poorly.
